Nice initiative! Just some quick additions to the already awesome list:

1. https://libgen.is/ - For any book from a leading international publisher, you can check this website.

2. https://sci-hub.st/ -For resources having a DOI number.

3. If none of the above works, try dropping an email directly to the author stating that you're a student but unable to afford the price of the book. Any author worth his salt will send you a soft copy of the book.

4. If the above doesn't help either, Twitter is your last resort. Tweet the name of the book with a hashtag #ICanHazPDF and any user who possesses a soft copy will get in touch with you.
